Strategic Plans

How it Works?

A Strategic Plan is an implementation roadmap which identifies and prioritises opportunities for the organisation. It creates a framework to enable the organisation to make choices for a better future.

Our international experience in the health sector ensures that we design and use proven methodologies and tools aimed at accelerating the strategic process. A Strategic Plan usually guides the organisation’s most critical activities for the following five years after implementation.

The first step is to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the organisation, as well as the opportunities and risks in its environment.

The Next Steps...

A series of interviews are then undertaken to better understand the stakeholders view with regards to the organisation’s growth opportunities and strategic priorities.

For each medical speciality/service/product, quantitative and qualitative goals are defined. By identifying measurable strategic priority areas, objectives and actions, the organisation can achieve operational excellence and high performance.

The Strategic Plan brings stakeholders together to define a collective plan. Input from patients, providers, hospital staff, community leaders and partners drive the organisation’s care outcome and efficiencies.

The Strategic Plan is based on information gathered through a Feasibility Study which will propose the most likely services to succeed. The document includes details of size of the operation, associated services required, and the possible phases and expansion of the project.
